The app
- Location. Used while the app is open, and while a walk is running with the screen locked, to find places near you and start the right story. It is used on your iPhone and dropped. Your position is not saved and not sent to anyone.
- Walked streets. If “Colour the streets I walk” is on (you can switch it off), the app counts how often you pass each street section and keeps that count and the time of the last pass, so the map can colour the streets. It does not keep where you were or a route.
- Your own content. Settings, trip answers, the optional name you type, liked places, your pins and notes, the stories you have heard. All of it stays on your iPhone. In Settings, Privacy you can export it as a file or erase it.
- Nothing else. No name, email, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or device identifier is collected.
What leaves your iPhone, only if you choose it
- Satellite map. If you switch on the satellite view (off by default), your iPhone asks Apple for the pictures of the area you are looking at, under Apple’s privacy policy.
- Directions and links. If you open a place or a route in Apple Maps or Google Maps, or tap a photo credit or source link, that app or website opens and receives what you chose to open. Prago does not send your position.
- Friends. An invite link contains the name, group name and wished places you chose to share. It travels through the app you send it with, not through us. The data sits after the # in the link, so it is not sent to this website when the link is opened.
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no embedded content from other companies. Fonts and scripts are served from this site.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and keep the site safe, Cloudflare processes technical data of each request, such as your IP address and browser type, under its own privacy policy. We do not see or use that data to identify you.
- Maps on the pages are drawn from OpenStreetMap data and shown as images.
If you write to us
We receive your email address and your message and use them only to answer you. We delete them when the question is settled. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
Your rights
Because the app sends us no data, we hold nothing about you to look up, correct or delete. If you wrote to us, write again and we will delete your messages. You can withdraw location permission at any time in iPhone Settings, Prago, Location; the rest of the app keeps working. You can complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz), or to the authority in your own country.
Children
Prago is a general travel guide. It collects no data from anyone, so it asks no one for consent.
Changes
If the app ever starts to collect data, for example accounts or reports, this page changes first, with a new date, and you are asked for consent where the law requires it.
